I think this is an above average diner. Burgers and Philly cheese sandwiches are really good. Fries are OK. A lot of regulars in this place. Server knew lots of there names. The service for a first timer was ok kinda wish I was already a regular...lol. Good place to pick up and go. I would definitely return and try some of there other items. Can't comment too much on the ambiance except that everyone seemed to know each other.

Been coming here for 20 years and counting i love their burgers and fries and all types of different foods they have! I love walking In because its always stayed the same and looks just like i remember it and i love that makes me feel right at home especially with their delicious food.

Order the pastrami sandwich with French fries. Sandwich was hot and fresh plenty of meat and tastes well. Plenty of parking outside., inside there is couple tables to dine in might fill up quick . I would come back for lunch again. Service is straight forward.

A lot of restaurants lose their touch after a couple of years tiptop on my opinion as always kept their food consistent with flavor all these years Food is excellent. Every time I go food. is always on point yup yup Ks up

I love this place! The staff has always been very pleasant and welcoming. They truly appreciate their customer. Hands down... the best. Other should take notes on the basics of just being a decent person. The food has always been good. I literally have cravings for their Philly Cheese Steak with Hot Crispy Fries and an Ice Cold Beverage. Don't forget a side of the ranch for dipping your fries. The ambiance is classic. It's an older building with a small dining room with black and white signed pictures of actors and celebrities who are customers of Tip Top. Strike up a conversation with the owner while you take in the wonderful smell of your food cooking. I will be returning. Enjoy!! #jsho Pro Tip: They do charge for refills.

i love tip top hamburgers for many many years in my life ...living in panorama city..... tip top is my favorite.....if you ever watched blood in and blood out .....you are going to see woodman and chase st. ....you're going to see tip top ......many many years in panorama city.....must try philly sandwiches yummy ....plus the hamburgers .. i really appreciate you

To be fair, I've only been once to pick up Philly cheesesteaks. The inside is small but they do have a small patio for eating. The cheesesteaks were just ok. Had high expectations based on Yelp reviews. The bread to meat ratio was off. Not enough meat. The meat was over-cooked. Not enough veggies so overall the cheesesteak was dry. Also the way they spread the meat was weird, it was pretty much all in the center. Didn't realize until it was too late so had three or four bites that were just bread. Perhaps they were having an off day. I may try again but it's 30 minutes one way so will probably just keep searching for a good cheesesteak closer to NW SFV.
